Today's the Day

Today's the day, the day I leave my lakehouse. I know, there's still a few more weekends where i can come up, but this is the last time of the summer it will be just me and my cousins. I will probably bring friends up, which by the way Hettie if you are reading this you've gotta come up some weekend soon! So anyways, I know i really should be blogging about makeup and whatever, but i just can't. So im gonna go lay in the sun, Im not tan enough.

Dead Girl Walking.

Sorry I'm not a super avid blogger and I don't post as much as I should. I apologize.
So anyways, let me tell you a story.
So, me and my friends Elise and Alyssa get home from a party. No one is home, and there is one car in the drive way (we have 3) so we yell names and look around, we find no one. I bring out a big kitchen knife, and we walk around the house bursting into every rooms saying either "WHAT THE FUCK YOU THINK THIS IS?" or "GET THE FUCK OUT MY HOUSE" or something ghetto fabulous like that. and so we finally get to the "attic" which is just a 3rd floor bedroom and i open it, screamed like the usual, closed the door. i open it again, i see a lump in the bed. so i say, "mom?" she replies, "yes?" in a sleepily voice, muffled by sheets. i say "oh hi." slam the door and we run all the way downstairs to the kitchen. We laugh about it for a few minutes. then somehow we get the idea to pretend Alyssa killed me by covering the knife, my stomach, and the floor with catsup. poor floor, didn't know what hit 'em. It was funny, laughs were had, pictures were taken. It was friday the 13th, and all and all, it was a good night.

She is the greatest cousin I could ever ask for, and I am blessed to have her.
I try my hardest to be thankful, and just remember how lucky I am to be related to such an outstanding women.

Just the name makes me poop my pants

this collection is just eyeshadow and lipgloss, but they are amazing shades.

i was really dissapointed with their summer 2010 collection "mac to the beach" it was just ugly corals, pinks, and an occasional bodily-fluid-color eye shadow thrown in.

So anyways, the first thing about this collection.

BAM DAM WHAM. look at those stunna shades. and im not talking about sunglasses.

it goes from gorgeous pastels (very "in" this summer) to primary, bold, in yo face, bright ass colors. here are my faves

a gorgeous, minty color. perfect for brown eyes

perfect light lavender, again, ideal for brown eyes

(DISCLAIMER: just cause i say "good for brown eyes" doesnt mean you are forbodden to wear it if you dont have brown eyes.

but i mean, that is so original, so great.

but for some reason, for makeup, its barely in anyones.
